Regina Hexaphone
What a great piece for the coin-op, arcade or music machine collector. This is an early model that does not come on the market very often, the model 101. When Hexaphones do show up they are the later type with the round wooden horn showing through the front. This early model is more reminiscent of the Victorian era with the fragile ball and stick grill.  It uses four minute cylinders instead of two which means a factory conversion kit was installed to upgrade this machine while still on location.
The machine was refinished a few decades ago and a replacement marquee was added at that time. The finish is in orange shellac and looks very much like an original finish.  I have owned a few Hexaphones through the years and worked on a couple for customers, I spent quite a number of hours servicing the mechanism to make it reliable so you just have to take it home and enjoy it!

Seeburg model B rare "Land of the Midnight Sun" glass.
I have lived in Pennsylvania for twenty years now. About nineteen years ago I attended a local auction to buy this piano, it was gutted at that time. After winning the piano the former owners approached me to talk about the piano. They informed me they paid a tuner to remove the mechanisms because they thought it was too heavy and of course they threw all of that stuff out. Shorty thereafter I bought an early Seeburg with a plain case that had an early green mech. and transferred the mechanisms to complete this piano. Now, apart from a few incidentals, the piano is complete and has all the proper early components. The electric motor has an open face with an out boarded electric connection board and a  Seeburg tag. It has a cast flywheel with an inset for the friction wheel to ride in. These early Seeburgs are not deep and so the factory had to notch out the inside of the bottom board to make room for the end of the crank shaft and they also needed that extra half inch depth they cut into the flywheel. It has early cast flanges top and bottom on the roll frame as well as a cast iron accumulator and a cash box with a cast iron front complete with lock. It does not have the wooden frame the cash box sits in nor does it have the wood base for the motor.
If you are thinking of refinishing this piano please don't buy it. Most coin pianos in collections have been refinished. I went through a lot of effort to complete this piano to enjoy the factory finish. The pneumatic portion will have to be rebuilt. An amateur has rebuilt the player system and his work is not good. He has stripped most of the green finish from the wood components. The keyboard is worn in the center from being played by hand for many years and the ivory is a moderate yellow with pronounced graining and about ten chipped fronts. I would not touch the keys if I were you. The sounding board is just OK but the bass bridge has to be glued back on for sure. It is a toss up whether you will want to restring it or not but apart from the dead bass it has a nice sound.
I'm selling this piano to make room for another piano I am adding to my collection. I certainly have enjoyed owning it.

Seeburg model E with xylophone.
This has been my own Seeburg E for more then fifteen years. This piano was discovered about 30 years ago in the Les Paul studio where it was being used as a musical effect for recordings. At that time it was gutted and tacks were pushed in the hammers to make it sound like a honky tonk piano. The conditions in the studio kept it from deteriorating.
I purchased it from collector Keith Taylor who started rounding up parts for it. I was impressed with the original finish and its immaculate condition so I just had to have it.
I completed the piano and it has played well for me for many trouble free years. It has a mix of old Seeburg parts and some reproduction parts. A real late piano, it has the soft, medium, loud control but the medium does not work.
It came with a modified single valve standard stack. It is the only component that is not correct. My collection rooms are humidity controlled and so the piano plays well all year long but if your room experiences humidity swings the key pneumatics will have to be recovered as they are getting old. (that old stack was covered about thirty years ago). If you want a Seeburg stack for the piano I have a kit I blanked out for an additional $400.
This is a very clean, late piano in great condition!

Star Perforator serviced and painted
These perforators were made in Philadelphia in the mid 20's. It is constructed like an old typewriter and about the same size. Pulling the selected tabs forward enables the operator to punch any number of notes per advance. There are two advance choices: one for ladder chain perfs. and one for solid holes. There is also a button for advance without punching.

This Star perforator was frozen when I bought it and so I spent a good bit of time taking it apart and freeing it up. It has been cleaned and some of the parts have been repainted making this a very nice looking machine for display. Many of the punches are dull but enough work well enough to demonstrate how rolls were made in days gone by. To put this back into service some new punches, which resemble brad head nails, would have to be machined so I'm offering this at a a price reflecting the needed work.
