The information in this section regarding the restoration of an Ampico A mechanism was generated from a talk I presented at a national convention of the Musical Box Society in 2002. As well as showing in depth, the typical restoration work I carry out, this material is meant to be a guide to help hobbyists restore their own Ampico mechanisms.
